MCEI VIP Dinner 7th April

RACV Club Melbourne

Type of Event: VIP Dinner
Date: April 7th 2010
Speaker: Ana Stankovic
Topic: ‘How to Utilise The Media to Bring Success to Your Business’
Special Activity: Presentation to new Gold member and VIP members

GUEST SPEAKER

Ana StankovicAna Stankovic of ‘Renovate and Profit’ was Highly Commended in the MCEI Awards 2009 and was prepared to share her ideas, tips and suggestions with the VIP Members as to how they could utilise the media to bring success to their business.

Ana strongly recommends that you put together a number of case studies of your successful clients and promote them in your media releases, rather than promote your own business. There is a natural spin off for your business and journalists love the variety of ‘stories’ you can provide. In our February Connect Event, our speaker, Kim Hesse recommended the same approach – it really does work!

Ana also keeps the journalists and editors informed monthly as to what she is doing and asks them if she can provide them with anything to help them with their stories. In this way she builds a relationship with the journalists, which pays off ‘big time’ as Ana is featured in major media at least every month.

VIP members thoroughly enjoyed Ana’s talk and one member put one of her suggestions into play immediately!
