Q. Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics, your hobbies etc.
A.
Entrepreneurial spirit is what has driven this business. The original strategy was to combine the HR/Marketing skills of my partner with my medical skills into a business in a niche market. The business has then been driven by what we wanted to achieve. We also push our values and philosophies very heavily and they are that as an organisation we are very lifestyle orientated. We encourage a “work hard, play hard” attitude and are open to therapists having the ability of coming and going or travelling often.

Q. What is it that your business does?
A.
W&L are the market leaders in the provision of mobile allied health services in South Australia. Their core business is aged-focussed allied health services. They believe in a holistic ‘wellness’ approach for their clients and giving ‘lifestyle’ choices to their therapists.

Q. What makes your business unique?
A.
Our service is unique because we look at health care differently. The traditional approach to allied health has been to diagnose and then treat often with only a 20 minute session. W&L's approach is to involve the family and care givers in the assessment. This allows for a total care approach and includes training of the care team and education being given on management guidelines for the client. W&L have made therapy in aged care their specialty and understand that clients require specialty knowledge and service.

MARKETING
Q. What is the most important Marketing/Networking tool/strategy your business has had success with?
A.
It is our vision to become the benchmark for aged care therapy services in Australia, supplying ‘best in class’ services that surpass needs and to be recognised as the industry expert on the needs of the older population. This will only be achieved by attracting therapists with great packages and understanding the needs of aged care
