A. Within the last two years I’ve successfully developed several online businesses, with multi million dollar turnovers and minimal start up funds. An ideas man, I’m not afraid of taking risks and am driven by an entrepreneurial drive and desire to help others.

Q. What is it that your business does?
A. BuyaShed.com.au is an online super store selling outdoor products including sheds, carports, garages, garden sheds, patios, relocatable buildings and more. The primary focus of BuyaShed.com.au has been on establishing a highly effective website, employing strategic online marketing strategies to drive traffic to the site and passing significant cost savings associated with a business model such as this on to our customers.

Q. What makes your business unique?
A. The outdoor industry traditionally features either locally run independent stores or large inter-state and international conglomerates. These business models have relied on large floor spaces, high stock levels, employing staff and generally footing high overheads, which are ultimately passed onto the consumer. On the contrary, BuyaShed.com.au’s online business model keeps our overheads to a minimum. We form Key Industry alliances with suppliers and source products at the very best price and quality. All of our products are sold exclusively through our online store, which allows us to provide significant cost savings to our customers, with a minimum 25% discount below retail outlets and the lowest prices in Australia for sheds and outdoor products.

A. Online marketing including Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing.

A. I would like the Awards to grow the Profile of our business and reward our staff for their fantastic work.

Q. What is it you can offer to MCEI members, beyond your normal product or service?
A. I have a good understanding of being an Entrepreneur, and regularly give presentations to local business people and high school students on this topic.

A. I envisage providing my knowledge and support in any way I can.
