SELF
Q. Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics,
Your hobbies etc.
A.
Enthusiasm. Whatever I do in life, either socially or professionally, I try to undertake with as much enthusiasm as possible. By nature I see the glass as ‘half full’ rather than ‘half empty’ and always make an effort to see another person’s point of view, even in a situation of conflict!

Previously I worked as a Medical Secretary/PA for 30 years. Four years ago I made a career change and began working as an Administrative Officer in the IP (Intellectual Property) area of CSIRO. My attention to detail has been encouraged by my current Manager. Recently I decided to build up my own business in Proof Reading and Editing.

MILESTONES
At my ‘day job’ I found an error in a legal document that had passed through to six people: I was the 6th person. The error was in a Notarised document which, had this error not been found, would have resulted in the relevant patent becoming invalid.
