Food Condiments Make the
Cultural Experience All the Richer as the Marketing and Promotion Messages Explain

There are many types of food available to us and not all of it is just for eating. Food condiments are wildly popular, not only for eating but also for removing stains. Try including a teaspoon of pepper in the wash cycle to keep bright colours looking their best.  To get these messages across to the public will require some very determined marketing and promotion messages.

Many feel that food condiments are necessary to enable us to enjoy eating. In fact, it has been said that food condiments are a vital part of the 'eating experience'. They certainly make the different cultural foods stand out and should be emphasised in all marketing and promotion material.

Cultural food, with the special food condiments specific to that region, is an important part of immigrants settling into a new area; it is symbolic and immigrant women use it to help them integrate into the new society. Barbecues are lit and cultural food is shared.

When they are not feeling well, cultural food is a comfort. In many schools students are allowed to showcase traditional garments, music, and dance from their various backgrounds and cultural food including the special food condiments, are served at lunchtime.

On occasions, multi cultural food, with the special food condiments, is provided to ensure that children from all backgrounds encounter familiar tastes and that all children have the opportunity to taste unfamiliar foods.

In Australia we have a wonderful variety of restaurants specialising in a diverse range of cultural foods. It is exciting to see more and more small businesses starting up producing cultural food for a niche market, to include such things as pickles, chutneys, mustards, jams, chocolate etc where the expertise of that culture often comes from generations of handed down recipes. We are all the richer for the experience that their marketing and promotion emphasise.
