Q. Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics, your hobbies etc
A. My life is busy and filled with many enjoyable things. I am spontaneous, social, loyal, I have a wide
circle of friends that I socialise with, I love my dogs, exercise regularly, I look after myself both emotionally
and physically, am passionate about animals and helping them. I am a loyal and supportive friend, however, I also
remember to nurture myself with things I enjoy doing and having.
BUSINESS DETAILS
Q. Do you work from home?
A. I have two businesses. However, my Aromatherapy & Skincare Business is my passion and the one I
most want to grow. I make my products at home and sell via my website, word of mouth, friends & referrals. . I
offer Aromatherapy massage, Therapeutic facials, Relaxation Massage, Pamper Parties and offer these at my home or
on a mobile basis.
Q. What is it that your business does?
A. As a business I offer Aromatherapy Massage, Facials, Relaxation Massage, Pamper Days and a range of
handmade plant based body care products. My products are made using natural raw ingredients and therapeutic grade
essential oils. Products can be made to order for specific skin types or specific skin conditions. ie Arthritis,
Eczema.
Q. What makes your business unique?
A. I offer a nurturing environment for my clients when experiencing massage or facials or pamper days and
I offer a range of skincare that is made is small batches, ensuring that products are mostly made to order. I offer
advice on how to further enhance their lives with the use of essential oils. I can make my clients a blend or mix a
cream for them to take away and use in between treatments. With my skincare range I offer a more personalised
approach in that I can offer a product for specific conditions and take into consideration the age and contra
indications of clients.
MARKETING
Q. What is the most important Marketing/Networking tool/strategy your business has had success with?
A. I have found word of mouth to be the most successful marketing tool. I have had some success from
search engines and offering home parties and pamper days. Also by sending out emails and attending some
Markets.
SUPPORT
Q. What would you like the Awards to do for your business?
A. The opportunity for more business exposure and opportunity for more business networking with the view
to increasing my sales and clients.
Q. What is it you can offer to MCEI members, beyond your normal product or service?
A. Exposure to the benefits of Aromatherapy. Consultation on the benefits of Aromatherapy and how to
incorporate it into daily life. Product or services for corporate gifts packs. .
Q. How do you envisage demonstrating your support and loyalty to the association of MCEI?
A. I envisage demonstrating my support and loyalty to MCEI by promoting the association to other
businesses & attending workshops and meetings.
