Type of Event: Special Fund Raiser
Description: A sumptuous muti course Yum Cha Feast to help raise funds to send Gaby &
Dante Company and their family to Peru to see Dante's very ill father. It was his father's last wish that he be
able to see the grandson he has never seen.
Gaby & Dante have been active members of MCEI for many years and have been extremely generous
in the support of MCEI events. Remember all of those wonderful hand-made chocolates? Well, it's time for MCEI
members to support Gaby & Dante. You can do this and have a great time as well by supporting this event.

Yet again one of our events has had to be cancelled
because of lack of interest from members. This was a function to help raise funds for one of
our own members in distress. The function was to give us a chance to personally wish Dante
all the best for his Dad and to show them our support. This cannot now
happen!
Many members have donated money
directly to the appeal and for that we thank you from
the bottom of our hearts. Of the members that did book in for the Yum
Cha function (9), they have also agreed to donate
that money towards Gaby & Dante. That exemplifies the true spirit of brotherhood in
MCEI.
What a pity there is so little of
it!
It does seem that MCEI still has a heart at its core,
but that heart should be much bigger and stronger than it is and the core seems to be getting
smaller and smaller.
