Q. Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics, your hobbies etc
A. Charly has a passion for IT and helping people overcome their technology challenges. It is this enthusiasm that appeals to her audiences and makes Charly such an inspirational teacher. She has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry, ranging from hands-on technical, to high-level business management. This experience in IT and running a successful business from home is what attracted the Women’s Ecommerce Association International Board of Advisors to invite Charly to be an adviser for Women in Ecommerce.

A. Yes, I operate my business from an office in my home.
 
Q. What is it that your business does?
A. At Ask Charly Leetham, we believe that technology is an enabler that aids business success – technology does not determine the direction of the business.

We specialise in connecting disparate systems and provide full service for any business seeking to create, grow and manage their online presence. Our aim is to provide a technology solution that allows a Business a level of autonomy in maintaining and updating their online presences whilst still being cost effective.
 
Q. What makes your business unique?
A. When creating a technology solution for a business, Ask Charly Leetham seeks to understand how a business operates and its business goals and objectives, rather than simply creating a solution that suits todays needs. Additionally, in solving technology challenges we ask "How Can This Be Done, cost effectively?" rather than saying "It can't be done".

Q. What is the most important Marketing/Networking tool/strategy your business has had success with?
A. Word of Mouth and referral marketing.

SUPPORT
Q. What would you like to achieve for your business by having entered the MCEI Marketing Awards?
A. Increased awareness of my business, raise awareness of other small businesses (specifically those run by women, and young women) about the benefits that can be derived simply by applying for the awards, sustainable growth and development of a stable customer base. To have fun!!!
 
Q. What is it you can offer to MCEI members, beyond your normal product or service?
A. I bring a wealth and experience with me - this experience covers a wide range and I love to share with others to help them achieve success.
 
Q. How do you envisage demonstrating your support and loyalty to the association of MCEI?
A. Social media involvement, blogging, forum participation - other areas that arise.
