Q. Tell us something about you – your philosophy, your lifestyle, your ethics, your hobbies etc
A. Brought up by two mathematicians and with a background in IT, I have grown up with a very strong
analytical skill set which I have combined with a formulised way of doing things to build a winning formula in my
business, doing what I love – renovating for profit.

Q. Do you work from home?
A. Yes, my business has always been based from home as the majority of the work that we do is either
renovating other people’s homes or holding workshops and presenting about renovating for profit at external events.
The coaching program that I run is completely virtual with many of my students being based all around Australia
(and a few overseas).
Q. What is it that your business does?
A. There are two aspects to Winning Formulas for Success. We renovate properties in order to resell them
for a profit or increase the rental return that they achieve. We do this with our own properties and those of our
clients. But in addition to that I also assist those who not only want someone to do the work for them, but also
want to learn how to go through the process of finding a property, analysing it, negotiating and purchasing it,
renovating to add the most value and then releasing the profits they have created.
Q. What makes your business unique?
A. There are number of renovation businesses out there, but not many that will not only turn up on time,
clean up after themselves & do what they are supposed to, but also will advise our clients on cost effective
solutions, ways to save money, etc. And as for teaching clients to renovate for profit, my coaching program is
unique in that it not only teaches them the theory but through 1-on-1 time I help them apply that to real life – to
practical examples.
MARKETING
Q. What is the most important Marketing/Networking tool/strategy your business has had success with?
A. My biggest success has come from establishing myself as an expert and sharing the knowledge that I have
acquired with clients to add value to their own skill set and success through presenting at expos, contributing to
publications such as Australian Property Investor magazine, Your Investment Property magazine, Handyman magazine,
various forums, newsletter and blogs, etc. More than 50% of my new clients come from word of mouth and
recommendation and I am very proud of that.

Q. What would you like the Awards to do for your business?
A. I would like to get additional recognition, support & also expand on the brand awareness of my
business. I think that these awards are a fantastic way of appreciating just how much we each achieve in our
businesses and also share with each other how the different marketing strategies have helped us succeed.
Q. What is it you can offer to MCEI members, beyond your normal product or service?
A. I would be happy to provide MCEI members information about investing in the current economic climate
and renovating for profit, whether that be through an article, presentation, tele-seminar, etc
Q. How do you envisage demonstrating your support and loyalty to the association of MCEI?
A. I would happily donate some of my time to MCEI to offer the MCEI members a complementary presentation
on property investing and renovating for profit.
